Engagement Manager - Consulting

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

A rapidly growing and international consulting business servicing the IT and financial markets space is currently seeking to appoint an Engagement Manager for their graduate/alumni programme. The successful person will be responsible for managing all alumni events throughout the calendar year, and also offering supporting to senior internal stakeholders and pastoral care to the organisation's alumni graduates.

About your role:

-Acting as a main point of contact for all alumni graduates, responding to all queries, questions and concerns and fostering strong, empathetic relationships.

-Working closely alongside the HR Manager in escalating employee relations, engagement, training and other HR related issues.

-Coordinating all training requirements, both pre and post deployment and sourcing the correct partnerships.

-Actively contributing to new business development and client penetration opportunities, feeding-back commercial propositions and driving an increase in the number of alumni graduates.

-Supporting the on-boarding of successful candidates and speaking with all new joiners on a regular basis.

-Working alongside the graphic designer, responsible for maintaining alumni merchandise and marketingmaterial.

-Developing propositions for monthly B2B and social events for alumni associates in partnership with internal stakeholders.

-Promoting and marketing all relevant events to the alumni community.

-Managing all relevant events within budget, and driving optimum attendance.

-Assisting in company-wide events, including working with the company's charity partners.

-Where appropriate, meeting with candidates prior to their first interview to assist in their success.

-Promoting the alumni scheme at careers fairs and other related events.

-Developing and maintaining all employee communications and training material.

About you:

-Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a business-related subject.

-Detail-orientated, personable and outgoing and commercially aware.

-Organised and assertive, with the ability to persuade and influence.

-Strong financial product knowledge across investment banking and the wider financial services sector.

-Prior events management or events coordination experience.
