Head of IT/Development Manager - £60,000

A well-known, successful charity based in Bristol are looking for an experienced Head of IT, with strong IT project management experience, to join their team of 4. This is a 2 year fixed term contract with some travel to London on an ad-hoc basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and support of the organisation's data and systems interfaces, ensuring they are professionally maintained and developed to meet the changing needs of the organisation and leading the web development team. The role of the Head of IT is to develop IT solutions and ensure that these deliver the project aims and benefits; taking the role of technical lead for many of these projects.

The successful candidate will have strong project management experience and will have worked with a wide range of systems, ideally CARE. Experience within the not-for-profit, charitable, care or healthcare sectors would be particularly suitable, but is not essential.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
*Project management of key development and data projects
*Ensuring the IT data and systems interfaces remain operational
*Ensuring that the data processes comply with best practice in the sector
*Analysing business needs in consultation with managers
* Line managing the relevant parts of the IT team

Examples of projects you will be covering, include but are not limited to:
*Ensuring data security to achieve ISO27001 accreditation
*Upgrading the website to a new CMS platform
*Integrating the CARE CMS system with DotMailer
*Creating a digital booking system

This Head of IT / Development Manager role is offering a salary up to £60,000 per annum, plus 5% matched pension, 25 days holiday and 8 Bank Holidays. Offices are based in Bristol, easily commutable from Gloucester, Newport, Bath, Cheltenham and surrounding areas.
