We are working in partnership with our prestigious client who are an international brand specialising in the Automated Parcel Locker industry linked to online shopping. We have an exciting opportunity as we are recruiting on their behalf for a Business Development Consultant to work in their Camden office.

Job summary: 

To provide lead generation through sales activity and complete administrative tasks. Contacting potential clients by telephone or writing, to include appointment making and undertaking research.

Key responsibilities:

- Contact potential clients for lead generation to make appointments on behalf of the Field Sales team
- Undertake research on potential clients
- Identifying possible leads and co-ordinate within the Field Sales team
- Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and send out to clients
- Chase clients in completion of sales contracts if necessary
- Coordinate the delivery of the on-boarding document ensuring all relevant parties have received this and have the appropriate information
- Assist completing sales reports 


- A minimum of 12 months' experience, working in a similar role 
- Be a proactive individual with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Happy to conduct cold calls for lead generation
- Essential to have experience of dealing with contracts
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel is essential
- Essential to be experienced in conducting market research 

The role offers a basic salary of between £20,000 and £23,000, with 20 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays. Working hours are Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.30pm.
