Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator. This is for a dynamic and forward thinking Real Estate company based in Manchester City Centre. This permanent opportunity can pay £18,000- £21,000 per annum for the right candidate.

Duties:

  • Coding of all invoices to the relevant nominal codes/departments via SAGE system
  • Matching and batching high volumes of invoices with relevant purchase orders from system servers and delivery notes
  • Supporting the full process of month end payment runs with the drawing of CHQ payments to all suppliers
  • Communicating with external bodies to ensure due diligence and authorisation of all queried invoices
  • Reliable monitoring and full management of disputed/queried invoices via a statement tracker
  • Petty cash and Credit card management - Ensuring company policies are adhered to
  • Being the first point of communication for all supplier queries
  • Reconciling on a periodic basis, all supplier statements across multiple company ledgers
  • Executing periodic historical creditors reports and scrutinizing the Sage purchase ledger system
  • Filing of all supplier invoices at month end close down
  • Providing where requested, monthly forecasts on purchasing expenditure
  • Posting and reconciliation, in-line with weekly payment runs

Person:

  • Experience with Sage finance is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of excel
  • Experience of high volume environments
  • First class interpersonal relations
  • Strong Communication (both written and verbal)
