Advancing People are working closely with a Market Leading product and service provider, within the education sector who are seeking a proven External Account Manager to join their team.

Over 80% of the Education Sector use our clients products and services.

Due to planned expansion in 2017 our client is looking for a Field Sales Executive that has the professionalism, communication skills and experience to hit the ground running within the Education Sector.

This broad Field Sales Executive role will involve full management of client accounts and decision makers, for now and long into the future. Building long term and strategic relationships will be key in this role - lead times can be short but mainly medium to long processes.

Across a defined territory you will be developing short term tactical plans and long term strategies in order to promote my clients profile and credibility whilst driving new and add on sales.

The role will also involve:

  • Working closely with internal teams to develop and align activity
  • Maintaining regular client contact genuine long term relationships
  • Negotiating business agreements at all levels within customer organisations
  • Accurately forecast using pipelines and providing updates on potential sales
  • Presenting information and analysis to senior management
  • Attend sales events and regional user groups
  • Growing existing accounts with upselling and new products/services

Essential experience:

  • Experience selling with the Education Sector along with an understanding of the factors and issues affecting UK Education
  • Proven Field Sales experience
  • Strong Communicator - verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Valid UK driving licence

Beneficial Experience:

  • Selling an IT product or IT Service

In return our client os offering a salary circa of £28,000-£30,000 Basic - £19k Bonus OTE - Company Car - Laptop - Mobile - Pension - Healthcare - Dental Plan - 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
