An exciting new position has become available, working for a leading public sector organisation in North Manchester who are currently going through an unprecedented amount of change. Following a recent restructure, they are looking for an experienced IT service manager.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be tasked for analysing, defining and planning improvements to their IT Services. You will be responsible for ensuring their infrastructure and services are delivered in accordance to the delivery targets set out. This includes monitoring their performance, making sure both internal and external SLA's are met. To do this you will be responsible for making sure the service and infrastructure are able to deliver the performance targets set out. For this, you will be liaising with senior stakeholders across the organisation to define and measure this service.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will be required to have previous demonstrable experience as an IT Service Manager. You will have strong experience dealing stakeholders - in particular clients that are outsourced, ensuring they are adhering to contractual agreements. It is important to have experience working in an IT infrastructure environment, understanding the core principles and analysing and monitoring service performance. It is also beneficial to hold ITIL v3 accreditation.
