My client a small boutique legal firm are looking for a Cashier/ Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. 


• data preparation on client-based queries; dealing with lawyer queries on status of accounts;
• assisting with book-keeping tasks, postings, liaising with the accountants;
• supervising finalising of invoices;
• credit control;
• petty cash.

Supporting Practice Manager/Assistant Manager/Office Administrator with:

• assistance with regulatory compliance;
• monitoring money-laundering information and conflict checks;
• holiday and sickness register;
• prepare weekly reports for partners on fee-earner hours;
• ad hoc general admin tasks and supporting the admin team as required.

• have worked in a small to medium sized firm;
• possess legal cashiering/billing experience and knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules;
• possess the ability to work to tight deadlines in a professional environment;
• have knowledge of SOS or similar software (training will be provided if he/she does not);
• possess experience within the legal sector, or professional services sector;
• be successful in previous administration roles, having experience with the accounts, billing and postings to ledger;
• possess strong IT skills and competence with Excel;
• possess the ability to work to tight deadlines in a professional environment;
• be accurate and meticulous in his/her work ;
• possess professional telephone manner;
• be willing and flexible to support the team with ad-hoc projects and administration tasks;
• be enthusiastic by nature and willing to be flexible in a newly created role.
