My client are a global firm (2500) with a small but rapidly expanding Data Science and Analytics team in London (100+)
They have a compelling set of solutions and services currently used in FS, Retail and Consumer sectors, expanding into Telco, Media & beyond
We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader (Sales Director / Sales Manager) with a track record in BI, Analytics and Big Data solutions sales.
You will understand the proposition of Data as a "Business Enabler" for clients, able to evangelise this, so a background in IT consultancy, solutions, services, software is essential.
As is expertise in the world of Data (BI, DHWing, Big Data, Analytics, CPM/EPM, Data Science) as well experience of the tools offered by stack and niche vendors/technologies players including; Qlik, MicroStrategy, SAS
Commission paid quarterly on services (1.5%) and solutions (4.5%) - on target c£50k per quarter or £200k per annum
Personal target £2.5m and overall team target £4.5m
Experience of leading a team of sales professionals is preferred (currently 3 and growing)
You will also have a strategic approach to sales and sales planning eg;
Targeting clients, stakeholder mapping, networking
Existing accounts - mapping, up selling, networking Target, win and manage your own client base as well as assisting the sales team where needed
Ability to understand different industry vertical needs to expand sales across sectors
When required help with proposals, taking the lead to make sure RFP's are answered and delivered on time with the appropriate solutions
