We're on a search for an experienced Traineeship/Learner Support Tutor to join a cross site delivery team based in Central London. We need someone with an approachable demeanour and solid experience in unearthing and understanding what support learners may need. Someone who can hit the ground running with at least 12 months tutoring experience, you'll demonstrate sparkling skills in communicating with and engaging learners across all learning levels and styles. Traineeship/Learner Support Tutor: The essentials.

* Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)
* Literacy & Numeracy qualifications (at Level 2 or above)
* An enthusiastic personality with a passion for tutoring and supporting learners
* Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask successfully
* Flexibility
* An understanding of how to support learners to pass functional skills tests (NCFE)
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems

Traineeship/Learner Support Tutor: Your experience.

* Occupational history and competence within the industry
* Minimum 12 months tutoring experience
* Experience in a similar role
* A proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets
* The ability to motivate and encourage people
* An interest in helping people develop
* Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
* Maintaining records of learners progress
* Planning and delivering vocational training programmes and workshops

Traineeship/Learner Support Tutor: The role.

* This is a 50/50 mixed role of visiting learners in the workplace in the London region and providing classroom based and remote tutelage to learners from the Central London office.
* You will be experienced in supporting learners undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship in a variety of areas including; helping them to achieve L1 and L2 Functional Skills, supporting learners with additional needs (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia etc) via telephone, e-learning and in a classroom environment (121 and small groups) and delivering Traineeship programmes and workshops.
* Mentoring, advising and guiding learners whilst they undertake their qualification with the ultimate goal being a timely completion of their qualification/apprenticeship.
* You will be enthusiastic, passionate and engaging; providing a fun environment for learners to achieve their qualifications and realise their potential.
* £23k-£25k p/a (depending upon experience and qualifications)
