The Company:

My client is an established training provider who have a strong reputation within the industry, mainly due to the quality of staff they have on their team & the important work they do within the community. This role has become available due to expansion as the company, taking on various new contracts across the country, which shows the ambition the company has for the future.

The Role:

We're looking to appoint an Employability Coach to cover Walsall & the surrounding regions. The successul candidate will be required to develop working relationships with young people, parents & employers whilst creating individual learning plans in conjunction with other tutors within the company.

The successful candidate will also undertake employer engagement activities to identify potential working opportunities for learners within the company. They will be required to attend team meetings when needed as well as take part in OFSTED visits as and when required.

The Candidate:

We need somebody with a strong personality, someone who has worked with young people within the community. Someone who can engage with a range of people (young people, team members, potential employers). Ideally you'll have mentored & guided young people within a similar position in the past.

We'd like to bring onboard somebody who has experience in assessing the needs of young people & delivering employment focused advice, guidance & support.

Qualifications Required:

Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)

Ideally an IAG/Youth Work qualification

Ideally an ICT related qualification at Level 2 or higher

Full UK Driving License

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is up to £21,250 depending upon experience

Excellent holiday entitlement at 40 days+ including stats

This is a home-based position, with mileage expenses paid from home. Excellent employee benefits package and good scope for progression for the right candidate.
