Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Housing Association in Manchester, who have enjoyed a highly successful period of expansion. They are looking to identify a Management Accounts and Reporting Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.


  • Lead the annual budget preparation process, to deliver a budget for the approval of the Board in line with the Trust’s timetables
  • Management accounts reporting for the Trust, including financial forecasts
  • Support the Head of Finance to deliver an efficient and transparent rent and service charge accounting process, including the setting of rent and service charge budgets
  • Deliver and manage a range of projects and initiatives focussed on the improvement of service delivery
  • Monitor and manage budgets for an area with a focus on financial efficiency and value-for-money services
  • Develop and manage annual work plans for service areas
  • Management of the Management Accounts and Reporting Team
  • Support the Treasury and Investment Manager in producing and updating the Trust’s Long Term Financial Plan
  • Review and develop financial procedures ensuring compliance with best practice, including responding to internal and external audit feedback, to maintain a robust environment of financial control

The successful candidate will be:

  • Hold advanced system skills - including MS Excel
  • Ability to partner with Senior Management and present financial information
  • A potential background in Housing or Property would be an advantage
