About the service

Aviary House provides self-contained flats enabling people with complex mental health issues to live as independently as possible. Specialist staff are on hand 24/7 to offer tenants support as and when needed.

About the role                             

Competent in engaging with a diverse range of people, you will be responsible for taking and processing referrals into our services from both individuals who are self refers. You will also be referring agencies and desktop assessments, signposting to other agencies if they do not meet our eligibility criteria.     

A key part of this role is to be efficient and have effective client and stakeholder communication. You will have responsibility for processing referrals through our information management system such as assessment outcomes and client data and liaising with our Client Service Managers in the area. 

We are looking for an energised, hardworking individual who is able to provide the highest quality of customer service to referrers, clients, commissioners and colleagues,  you will be responsible for co-ordinating and processing referrals including taking an active role in the promotion and marketing our service to ensure referrals to the service are maximised.  

You will be expected to work shifts and weekends when required to do so

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for someone to provide the highest quality of customer service to referrers, service users, commissioners and colleagues and you must have strong administration experience with high levels of competence in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Information Management systems. With good numeracy and literacy skills, you will also have the ability to manage your own time and workload effectively, and will work in conjunction with colleagues to meet contractual deadlines.

With strong attention to detail, you will be enthusiastic, literate and numerate and competent in engaging with a diverse range of people.
