Job Title: Audit Senior
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Uxbridge, West London
My client are one of the top 50 accountancy practice firms based in Uxbridge, West London. They are now seeking for the best Audit Seniors in the industry. If you are ACA/ ACCA qualified with at least 2 years' experience within a multi-partner practice with at least 40% audit exposure then this is an opportunity you should consider.
As an experienced Audit Senior you will be able to carry out audit duties for a broad range of medium to large owner managed Clients such as property companies and wholesale organizations.
Your day to day duties will include:-
- Perform and plan smaller audits either alone or leading a small team.
- Prepare corporation tax computations.
- Obtain background data for audit planning.
- Ensure time budgets are maintained.
- Prepare & review financial statements.
- Draft Management letters and reports.
- Maintain Client confidentiality and professional relationships.
- Supervise and assist junior staff.
- Liaise with other departments in order to efficiently and effectively complete jobs.
- Be a team player and actively partake in technical training sessions.
For you to be successful in this role you will be technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to build very strong relationships with Clients. You're required to have an aptitude for teamwork and problem solving, ability to work under pressure and ideally you'll hold a full UK driving license.
You'll need to be an ambitious Audit Senior who is already established within auditing, and is looking to develop this area further. This role will be most suited to someone who thrives under new challenges, delivery focused, enjoys accountability, has a 'can-do' attitude and is looking to improve their skills and competencies through self-development.
