My client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Care Manager to join their highly respected domiciliary home care service where quality is put before profit.

The Position:

Working closely with a Care Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the high quality day to day operation of the home care service for a particular area in Berks/Bucks which will involve:

* Visiting and assessing clients' needs and planning their care.
* Scheduling care staff to ensure these needs are met.
* Build & maintain strong relationships with clients and their relatives.
* Liaise with external professional care organisations such as GPs, nursing professionals etc.
* Creating care plans and undertaking risk assessments
* Participate in recruiting, developing & training of new staff
* Develop new contracts to build the service.

The Person:

You'll have gained similar experience within the social care sector and be an excellent communicator, with the confidence and energy to grow the business further.
A strong administrator, you'll be highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise your workload whilst maintaining the service quality.
You'll also possess good IT skills including MS Office.

You will be expected to be available 'on call' on a rota basis 1 in every 6th week-end, along with some evenings.

This role would suit someone with experience of working within a Care/Nursing organisation, perhaps as a Care Co-ordinator looking to progress to the next step of their career. An excellent salary and benefits package is offered for this role.
