Due to continuing business success and growth our client now have a fantastic opportunity available for an Assistant Manager to join the store in Wimbledon.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

As Assistant Manager for the Menswear department, you will act as brand ambassador for one of our client's luxurious London boutiques. With passion and proven experience, you will drive your strategic vision and direct the Menswear team in providing an iconic customer-service experience, ensuring maximum profitability. As a true motivator, you will oversee the development of all Menswear team members, ensuring exceptional results while maintaining operational excellence. Your responsibilities will also include:

- Driving the Menswear sales through personally and productively motivating the team to achieve/exceed set budgets, sales targets and profitability.
- Maintaining their unique and renowned customer service, ensuring that it is maintained at all times and in all aspects.
- Delivering business objectives by ensuring all members of the team have the tools and the knowledge of market trends, brands and competitors to deliver them.
- Identifying opportunities and initiatives to continually improve performance, communicating them to the General Store Manager or relevant member of the team.
- Accounting for stock security, ensuring stock takes are carried out efficiently following company guidelines and that investigations are carried out to guarantee the results are accurate and under company target.
- Supporting HR with any ER issues and manage any disciplinary processes that may be necessary.
- Ensuring Health & Safety and security standards within the store are maintained.
- Undertaking any other duties as reasonably requested/required to support the successful day to day running of your store.

The ideal Assistant Manager:

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as an exceptional people manager with outstanding leadership and communication skills. You will be well versed in increasing sales and successfully driving a retail store to achieve its goals. You will also possess:

- Ability to demonstrate the ability to train, grow and develop a shop-floor team.
- A strong clientele background and – ideally – previous luxury retail experience.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Proficiency with technical programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
