Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Mobile Maintenance Electrician – Inside M25
Are you fed up of working in dingy plant rooms? Do you want to work in some of the most elite commercial buildings in the City? I am looking for a qualified Electrician for an exciting field based role, where you’ll get to work in first-class, upmarket environments and where you’ll be able to utilise all of your electrical and building fabric maintenance skills, becoming an integral part of the successful running of the building.
You’ll be travelling all over London, attending various retail outlets and commercial office blocks, split about 50/50 between reactive and planned maintenance. You’ll be looking after anything from lighting, AHUs, fan coil units, pumps to monitoring tap temperatures. Despite the role having an electrical bias, you’ll be required to tend to other things depending on client requirements, so it’s a great chance to get yourself skilled up in other areas, whilst keeping the role fresh – no two days are likely to be the same!
What we need from you:
- You’ll need to have done your Electrical apprenticeship, and have your 17th edition as a minimum; if you have a Testing and Inspection qualification or IOSH, even better, but you won’t be dismissed if you don’t.
- The most important thing is that you’ve got a good attitude and are confident working with lighting – you need to be able to change lamps and install new fittings etc. Anything else you’re not sure on can be trained.
- You’ll be customer focussed - due to the client base, you’ll be willing to go the extra mile – customer is king!
What you’ll get in return:
The role is paying between £28,000 and £34,000 per annum and you’ll benefit from the use of a company van and fuel card. You’ll work as part of a relatively small team where you will be supported to develop yourself and gain new skills, broadening your own horizons in the facilities management sector. You’ll benefit from excellent working environments, and be able to be genuinely proud of helping to keep them at the top of the game.
If it sounds like this could well be your next move, please send your CV to me for immediate consideration and a quick turnaround for an initial telephone interview.
