Staff Nurse - Endoscopy FTC
The new site will encompass inpatient and daycase beds, operating theatres including the first integrated robotics theatre in the UK, housing a Da Vinci Robot. There will also be a chemotherapy unit, outpatient consulting, Level 3 Critical Care and Imaging including X-Ray, MRI and Ultrasound.
The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses the recently opened outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard, the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site, and a further five outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City, Canary Wharf and Kent. The Endoscopy Unit provides excellent care for patients who are in need of investigations of the digestive tract including the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. London Bridge Hospital offers more complex procedures than any other UK private hospital and was the first private hospital in the UK to offer Endobronchial Ultrasound Service (EBUS).
As an Endoscopy Nurse at the London Bridge Hospital, you will help to assess, implement and evaluate the care needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures and will assist with the processing, storage, tracking and use of all flexible endoscopes in accordance with current regulations BSG, CFPP, EN ISO 15883. In addition to this, you will contribute to an environment that is conducive to the delivery and promotion of an excellent service providing outstanding patient care.
This is a full time role working 37.5hrs per week (Covering 0730 - 1900 Monday - Friday. Working 10hr days, 4 days a week and covering on-call)
The attractive and competitive salary for this role is £31,630 - £35,822 + 4% shift enhancement and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver care, facilitate safe transfers and ensure comprehensive handover for ongoing care
- Prepare and assisting in endoscopy procedures
- Prepare rooms for the day ahead - ensuring cleanliness
- Attending team briefing for patient lists
Skills & Experience
For this role, you will need to have experience gained within a general endoscopy unit, some of which is ERCP. It is also desirable that you have knowledge of JAG.
