I am working with a fantastic British Business who are seeking an Area sales manager to join the business and assist with their forecasted growth in the immediate future. The role is covering the area of Peterborough upwards, so anybody living in the North of the UK, with high value capital equipment sales experience would be suitable.

My client specialise in the bespoke manufacture of Eco friendly industrial material Handling equipment and work with Local Authorities, Airports, Shopping centres, Leisure centres including theme park and many other organisations.

The business been established as a solid engineered product business for 75 years and have come into their own over the past twenty years, seeing triple digit growth year on year.

My client are seeking a professional who can come in and achieve the following.

- Develop existing accounts and increase revenue streams
- Hunt new business opportunities and develop the client through exceptional sales practice
- Work and area utilising Geographic knowledge and also industry exposure
- Looking after SME business as well as approaching the large corporates
- Confident and well versed when presenting to c level clients and heads of purchasing.
- Adaptable in the approach to clients weather board level or warehouse management.
- Liaising with the national sales team to ensure coverage is whole and complete
- Utilising the CRM for marketing and also updating to ensure a fresh approach every time

The right person for the role must have the following attributes

- You MUST have experience selling high value capital equipment
- Driven passionate and energetic
- Confident and well-honed sales skillset
- Established knowledge of Industrial vehicles leasing, sales or management
- Material handling exposure would certainly be advantageous
- Clear concise communicator
- Driven to get out on the road and meet with clients
- Ability to cross sell and upsell to existing clients
- Establishing a client’s needs and selling to those needs in a consultative and professional manner
