Commercial Insurance Account Handler
This position has arisen with a leading insurance brokerage that specialises in providing commercial and personal lines products and services.
The firm has a proud history of providing insurance services to a wide variety of clients across the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire areas, and is one of the brokers of choice for a number of clients in this region.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a key role within the Commercial Lines Broking Team. You will handle predominantly outbound sales calls in relation to commercial / SME insurance renewals, new business quotations and mid-term adjustments. You will also ensure a high level of client retention, whilst creating and maximising sales opportunities wherever possible.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least 6 months’ insurance experience. Those with personal lines experience, who want to move into commercial insurance, are encouraged to apply. You must have the ability to build rapport quickly in a friendly and approachable manner, and overcome any objections by using a 'soft sales’ approach. Training will be provided to ensure you are compliant with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the insurance industry with a well-respected broker. Alternatively, this could suit someone with a number of years’ experience, who is perhaps looking to move away from a purely sales-based broking role.
You will receive a starting salary ranging from £17,000 - £19,500 (dependent on experience). This position involves standard office hours, Monday to Friday9am-5pm.
