IT Support Helpdesk Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established and growing IT company based in Wooburn Green.
- We are looking for an experienced 1ST line helpdesk engineer (minimum 12 months experience in IT Support)
- The role will include the need to identify and prioritize each job together with the ability to troubleshoot using detailed technical procedures.
- Applicants will be expected to be smart and presentable with good communication skills both on the phone and in person
Required Skills / Experience:
- Candidates will need to haveexperience with some if not most of the following Windows 7 / Win 8 / Win 10, Antivirus, Backup, Exchange / Office 365, Server 2008, 2012R2, Active Directory etc. Though further training will be provided.
- Knowledge of the following would be advantageous - routers, switches, firewalls, VPN’s, TCP/IP, networking and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft and Network qualifications are also desirable
- Experience of supporting customers by telephone / remotely
- Well-developed problem solving skills
