A small start up based in the City have expanded significantly over the past year and are now looking to hire a Finance Manager to look after their finance function. This will be the first role in finance and you will work with the external accountant to bring all accounts in-house. This role will initially be a temporary role but they would consider taking someone on permanently so it is a great opportunity.
You will be reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the founding team. The company is growing rapidly so this role is the chance to be the part of something very exciting.
- Preparation of management accounts and reporting on KPIs
- Cash flow planning
- All bookkeeping duties
- Making payments
- VAT returns
- Setting up and administering customer contracts
- Provide financial support to the sales team
- Project profitability analysis
The successful applicant will be a part qualified accountant with experience of either working in a sole role or in a small finance team. If you have used Xero this would be beneficial but not essential. You must be happy to work in a hands on role and constantly problem solve and suggest improvements that can be made.
