Babcock International Group is currently looking to appoint a Motor Vehicle Assessor - BMW. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing a case load of learners within the BMW Technical Apprentice programme (Light Vehicle, Motor Cycle or Body & Paint) in the South East of England as well as identifying and engaging potential employers and learners for government funded apprenticeships.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working as a Technician / Senior Technician / Master Technician within Light Vehicle or Motorcycle OR Vehicle Body & Paint experience.

You will preferably have previous assessing experience and qualifications, this is not essential for the right candidate.

This is a home-based role covering the South East of England so you MUST be willing to travel within this region.

Responsibilities:

  • Identity and engage potential employers and learners government funded and commercial learners to achieve regional and contracted targets

  • The assessment, progression and completion of learners in line with the VCQ code of Practice and Quality Assurance frameworks

  • To effectively manage diary to ensure all learners within your caseload are supported in line with company and contractual requirements

  • To ensure all Etrack and upgrades are adhered to as stated in company policies and procedures

  • Comply with Internal Verification strategy by ensuring site visits are arranged your internal verifier and sampling plans are up to date at all times

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Self-motivated with flexible approach

  • Level 3 vocational qualification within Automotive specialist area

  • A1 Qualification or equivalent - desired

  • Previous Assessing experience - desired
