1st Line Support

Our award winning, well respected client who have experienced huge amounts of genuine growth in recent years, are looking for a 1st Line Support professional to join their flush offices based in the City. The 1st Line Support professional will manage the Helpdesk system and provide first line support to users.

1st Line Support - Key Skills:

  • An IT background with 12 months' experience of main desktop applications
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Diplomatic and tactful with a keen sense of urgency, coupled with excellent communication skills

1st Line Support - Responsibilities:

  • T log all telephone calls on the Helpdesk system and assist users in solving IT related problems
  • To allocate calls to the appropriate team
  • To liaise with users to ensure calls are resolved to their satisfaction and close resolved calls
  • To review and release quarantined emails as appropriate
  • Coordinate initial users' access to the network system
  • Perform administration tasks relating to new users, requests for hardware/software, running routine reports from various systems etc.
  • To produce and maintain departmental procedures
  • To occasionally assist on site second line support staff
  • Provide general administrative support to Group IT Administrator
