Support Worker, Billingshurst
You will support our work with a group of secondary students as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ingfield Manor is a day and weekly boarding school for 60 disabled pupils aged 3 to 19. This is a good school with outstanding features (Ofsted November 2013) and ambitions of becoming outstanding. We are an exciting and rewarding place to work. You will contribute to strategy, promoting function and independence in pupils. You will also support our work with a group of secondary students as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
We require support workers to join a team working with a group of around ten pupils. You will be involved in all aspects of the pupils’ learning day. For all posts you should have a related qualification such as National Vocational Qualification level 3 (NVQ level 3), or the willingness to acquire it and be experienced in working with children or young people. Posts are full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Part-time will be considered, usually comprising full shifts of 7.5 hours.
Successful applicants will need to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity.
