ROLE SUMMARY
As Business Development Manager you will work with clients , you'll need to be equally happy drumming up new business from scratch as well as managing the book of business you grow over time. You'll operate as an Account Manager for existing clients to grow and nurture these accounts but you will also be equally effective in the new business aspect of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your primary objectives as Business Development Manager will be sales-focused and require you to take revenue generating responsibility for a segment of the firms clients, with a remit to increase existing revenues by developing new business and deepening client relationships and developing new business. In doing this you will have a chance to shape the business through your ideas. This will include:
* Participating in on-going sales efforts, including researching, preparing for meetings,drafting proposals and following-up on 'live prospects'.
* Representing the firms interests at client meetings and events and promoting various client solutions and the increasing breadth of innovative services that they offer.
* Analysing your portfolio of clients you are responsible for to assess likely return, identifying growth opportunities with its current client base and converting them into increased business in a consultative and authentic way.
* Working autonomously to build up your own client base but also collaborating closely with your BD team colleagues

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
*Successful track record of selling B2B HR and Payroll software/outsourcing solutions at MD/FD level
*An understanding of back office processing, preferably within the recruitment sector
You will also:
* be educated to at least degree level
* have the ability to quickly gain credibility and respect from highly qualified professionals

This role can be based from home or in any of the South East regional offices
