We are looking for a talented design technology teacher that can teach through to GCSE level. Technology is a popular subject through all the key stages and Design Technology has achieved outstanding results over the past decade and the school are keen for this to continue. The successful candidate will therefore need excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver outstanding lessons.

The school became a specialist college for in 2002, re-designated in 2006 and 2009 and, following their recognition as a High Performing Specialist School, they were awarded Training School status in 2008. Exciting developments and opportunities that have been introduced as a result form part of a range of strategies that continue to enable them to raise their levels of achievement even higher, and provide enrichment and challenge for their students.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher of Design Technology to join a flagship department to teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and 4 on a contract that could lead into a permanent contract. This position is open to either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) or experienced Design Technology teachers looking for a fresh challenge in this outstanding school.
