We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Health and Social Care Tutor to work for a highly successful, National training provider.

This is an excellent time to group as this Training Provider is going through an exciting period of growth. This tutor will deliver Health and Social Care qualifications from entry level to Level 2.

The Health and Social Care Tutor will be offered a highly competitive salary of up to £23000 with 25 days + public holidays, healthcare, child care vouchers and various discounts. You will work Monday-Friday based on a 37.5 hour working week.

The Health and Social Care Trainer will be supporting learners aged 16+ who are enrolled on Traineeship and Apprenticeship Courses in Health and Social Care. This role will also involve delivery of functional skills Maths and English from entry level to Level 2.

The Health and Social Care Trainer will require the following Qualifications and Experience
- PTLLS or Recognised Teaching Qualification
- Experience of delivering functional skills to groups in a classroom environment
- Previous Experience of supporting learners on Health and Social Care Programmes
- Vocational work experience within an Adult Care Setting, e.g. Carer, Team Leader etc.
- Experience of delivering Employability would also be a major advantage
- Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care

Overview of the Health and Social Care Tutor

Based in Basildon the Tutor will be classroom-based and will be responsible for the delivery of Health and Social Care Qualifications, embedded with Functional Skills. This will vary from Entry Level to Level 2.
The Tutor will be preparing lesson plans and conducting weekly reviews with the learner. You will be managing a caseload of learners who are level 1 within the chosen Traineeship, Apprenticeship Programme. You will be supporting the learners with guidance, delivery and assessment of the Key Units to achieve the qualification. The Tutor will also be providing the learner with employability skills tutoring.

The Tutor will carry out all the necessary paperwork, ensuring high levels of Quality Assurance.
