Finance Manager (Hotels)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an award winning and privately owned organisation in Wendover, Buckinghamshire as a Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will be responsible for the production of accurate, relevant and timely reports for Senior Management to support performance management and ensure that controls, processes and flow of financial information is accurate and effective. There is also the responsibility for establishing and monitoring annual budgets.
The main duties as Finance Manager include; supervision of finance staff and deputising as required, propose changes to improve the Finance function, produce weekly, monthly and annual reporting, preparation, analysis and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, assist with the preparation of year end audit packs and liaise with Auditors, calculation of VAT, and analysis of variances and KPI’s within the business.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified in ACCA or CIMA and have strong commercial, management and customer-facing experience. Previous experience working as a Finance Manager within hospitality and retail industries would be beneficial as well as multi-site management accounts knowledge. This position would suit someone who is confident, capable of handling a busy and challenging workload and can communicate on all levels. Good IT skills are essential and experience using Dream Accounting software would be a bonus. We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate a 'can do’ attitude and can show enthusiasm to work as part of a team.
