2nd Line Software Application Support Analyst (SQL/Oracle)

Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + Benefits

About the Role

With a solid software application and problem solving background support background and exceptional customer service skills you will have an excellent opportunity for career progression and recognition within this national IT Services Solutions Company! You will be required to provide 2nd line technical support and problem solving of the company's software application on their service desk by taking ownership of the customer's application problems in addition to providing support with any ad hoc project requirements.

Key Skills:
* It is essential that you have solid customer service and problem solving skills with a
commercial background in providing technical support of enterprise software applications
* Software application support
* You will have worked in a 2nd line technical support role for a software company or
similar and have the ability to take ownership and resolve customer's technical problems
by using your exceptional telephone communication skills and using your initiative
* Good general knowledge of Information Technology
* Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL (PL/SQL preferred)
* Ability to prioritise and manage work in a customer focused environment, working to
stringent SLAs
* Ability to work with others as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills particularly with customer representatives in writing and
