I am currently working with a Manufacturing organisation based in West Milton Keynes that are looking for a Full Time Permanent Credit controller to join the team. 

Duties to include

• Follow credit control processes and instructions to obtain payment from customers for own ledger by means of telephone, email and letters
• Update the Company systems to the required standard
• Reduce debtor days to BSC target
• Work with customers to obtain payment during abnormal payment situations
• Allocate payments to customers’ accounts by invoice
• Deal with customer queries re payments
• Send Reminder Letters and Order Pending Payment letters to customers
• Run blocked orders and where appropriate authorise orders for processing on a daily basis
• Deal with customer invoice/credit queries
• Prepare monthly statements
• Ensure all customer’s details are correct and maintained
• Process pro-forma payments via credit card software
• Liaise with and support other Business Units
• Increase credit limits up to and including 5k after appropriate checks
• Inform Financial Controller of any problem accounts e.g. poor payment, credit limit, warning signs etc.
• Liaise with and assist Group, Auditors and Financial bodies
