This is a full time and permanent role for a Maintenance Engineer based in Wisbech - Peterborough (Full Relocation Package Available), you will receive a basic salary of up to £40,000 with an excellent benefits package and unrivalled career prospects.
On the 8th March 2017 we are holding an assessment day where a group of 8 will be invited to the factory for the day. You will do an interview as a whole, A technical test, a '1 To 1' to gain an insight on your experience and what package would be suitable. and then capped of with a factory tour. This is an exciting time for a Maintenance Engineer to join them as they continue their journey towards being a LEAN enterprise, delivering customers with perfect quality products at the right time and place whilst minimising losses and maximising efficiency.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer - (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering bias) can have industry experience in any high volume production environment such as Food, FMCG, Automotive, Pharmaceutical etc. To compliment your industry experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias) you will ideally be a time served Engineer / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, educated to one of the following ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant subject.
You should be confident in your ability with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work, you will strive with your colleagues in the Maintenance Engineering team to provide the maximum availability and efficiency of our clients equipment in a highly automated manufacturing environment. All Maintenance Engineers in the team have a flexible approach to working patterns in this 24/7 operation.
Problem solving is of course at the heart of the role as a Maintenance Engineer and you will be required to repair and maintain a wide variety of Packaging, Filling and Processing equipment. It would be helpful if you had some experience of the food industry but our client is willing to consider other industry experience. You will need to be comfortable with the principles of continuous improvement as our client strives towards being a LEAN enterprise. The highest standards of workmanship and attitude are expected at all times combined with a true commitment to safety and zero accidents.
