Accounts Administrator - Islington

Our client is looking for an Accounts Administrator for their office in Islington, the position demands a methodical and mathematical attention to detail. They are a well-established independent Estate Agency in North and North West London.

The main aspects of the job are, but not limited to:-

  • Processing of the daily bank statement onto the system
  • Paying contractors bills
  • Paying rents to landlords
  • Collecting move-in monies, transferring deposits and fees to relevant accounts
  • Chasing rent arrears
  • Dealing with tenant deposit returns
  • Managing finance related queries from clients, tenants, lettings and property management staff
  • Maintaining the accounts for clients, including reporting to clients and tenants, providing monthly statements of accounts
  • Posting commission invoices and paying fees to relevant offices
  • Calculating negotiator commissions and wages. Preparing monthly and yearly reports
  • Processing quarterly income tax returns
  • Keeping spreadsheets with rental schedules and expenses for landlords with multiple properties
  • Processing daily reconciliations of client accounts
  • Providing assistance with yearly auditing
