Apprentice Sales Administrator
Are you looking to kick start your career in Sales and Administration?
We have an opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to start a career in a thriving sales environment, with a strong German manufacturer.
The key responsibilities of this role will be varied. You will be involved in the sales process through from recording sales orders, sending confirmations, marketing activities, controlling our small levels of stock and ensuring products go out for delivery successfully.
As an Apprentice Sales Administrator you will also help our sales team to make sales calls to help expand our customer base. The role will also involve office duties including replying to customer emails, answering telephone queries and providing admin support to other members of staff.
To be successful in this role you'll have a 'can do' attitude and be willing to learn new skills - you'll be trained and developed to help you meet your full potential, completing an NVQ qualification as part of your apprenticeship.
Whilst some previous sales experience is a bonus, it's not essential - we'll develop your knowledge of our sales techniques and products so you can provide a great service and meet customers' needs. What we're really looking for is someone with a customer orientated and polite attitude, along with good organisational and administration skills and the ability to work well within a team. You will need to be comfortable working in a busy office environment and be able to communicate effectively by telephone, letter and face to face. You'll also have a good level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel, to support our office systems.
The role will be for an initial period of 12 months and is ideal for someone looking to take their first step onto the career ladder. On completion of the programme, we hope that apprentices will be employed in a full-time capacity within our business.
