Bookkeeper - Full or Part-Time
Working within a well-established Firm of Accountants, the successful candidate will be part of a busy and professional team. You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of bookkeeping duties for a wide range of different client companies.
This could typically include being involved in sales, bought and nominal ledger work, banking and bank reconciliation duties, the preparation of quarterly VAT returns for clients, the submission of CIS statements, and possibly some payroll work; but experience of all of the above is not necessary, as the Firm can train in areas which have not been touched on. Much of the work will be undertaken on Sage Line 50 software, and possibly a couple of other packages, but Sage experience is the most important.
Candidates should be strong double-entry Bookkeepers, and whilst previous experience in a Firm of Accountants or a Bookkeeping Bureau would give you a huge advantage, Bookkeepers from a commercial background are encouraged to apply.
The role can be offered on either a full or a part-time basis, and school hours can be considered for the right candidate.
