Sales Account Manager - IT Solutions


£33k - £38k Basic £65k - £70k OTE + Car + Bens

Our client delivers hassle-free procurement of IT products, services and solutions. The business has kick-started an exciting journey to revolutionise how the IT supply and services market works as part of a major initiative to become the UK’s fastest growing IT reseller. With a world-wide customer base, some 40,000 registered users and sales of over £40m, our client is looking for active thinkers and doers to join their busy sales team.

The Role

  • Attending nationwide client meetings to secure new business and develop existing relationships
  • Promote business through networking events and tradeshows
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Increase profitability from existing accounts and generate new business to maximise all sales opportunities.
  • Undertake any requests from management of the company in line with company sales strategies.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers.

The Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT B2B sales industry and proven experience of strategically selling IT hardware, services and solutions.
  • An understanding of the IT sales lifecycle from customer reviews through to delivery and support
    A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and progress through to close, whilst using initiative to cross and upsell
  • The aptitude to turn prospects into valued customers and with a high conversion rate.
  • The ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and in person.
  • Well-developed organisational and workload management skills.
  • The drive to ensure that personal sales targets are consistently achieved.
