Project Manager, System Implementation, Procurement, Prince 2, 6 month fixed term contract, up to £50,000

My client, a market leading government organisation, are currently seeking an experienced project manager on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. They would also consider a day rate contractor working a 4 day week, paying up to £370 per day.

Reporting to the programme manager, the purpose of this position is to help deliver the company change programme to put in place in new services, new systems and improve the current operations.

You will have previous experience of delivering complex change and technical projects in challenging environments with excellent application of Prince 2.

You need to be familiar with organisational change and be able to manage the transition from an existing operating model to a future one.

Experience of Agile methodology is also advantageous as you will be required to follow this method particularly within system integration projects.

It is also essential that you have experience of supplier and commercial management i.e. procurement processes.

You will be working with senior stakeholders in a challenging environment, you therefore need to have the ability to motivate and influence other members of the team.
