Accounts Payable Job - Large Retail Company - Central London - Temporary to Permanent - Up to £25k

This Retail company have their head office near to Oxford Circus, Central London and they have a presence globally. They currently have an Accounts Payable - Stock job vacancy within their finance team.
Your new role
They are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis and a background dealing with stock invoicing is required. Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Processing a high volume of stock invoices
- Weekly supplier payments - using both the stock and finance systems
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries
- Matching PO's to invoices and the system
- Liaising with colleagues to obtain approval for invoices
- Systems: SUN and Pacific Island ideal
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an immediately available Accounts Payable Assistant with a background and knowledge of stock / retail finance. You will be eager to learn and ideally studying AAT. Great communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude are required.
What you'll get in return
Working within a team of 7 you will report to the Finance Manager and have the scope to progress long term. Once permanent the role offers a salary up to £25k and great benefits package.
