We are recruiting Sales Managers to join our teams across our leisure facilities in Epping, Loughton, Ongar and Waltham Abbey. These sites have excellent facilities including a leisure pools, gyms, group exercise studios and cafés.

What your role will be

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving membership and leisure sales, taking prospective members around the facilities, promoting excellent customer care and public relations with the wider team. Whilst working closely with the Marketing Manager and Health and Fitness Manager, you will create promotion plans to maximise sales and marketing opportunities. You will also monitor the sales team’s performance to set KPIs and work with them to exceed those targets. You will empower your team, ensuring they become experts with a supreme level of product knowledge on all aspects of our facilities. Compliance to company standards and maintaining brand image is critical, this will include making sure administration and systems are kept up to date and compliant.

There will be a requirement to work evenings and weekends when required to ensure that all customers’ needs are met and that all staff can be communicated with during their hours of work.

Your background

With a commitment to future growth, you will have experience working within a sales and target driven environment. Experience with membership sales would be highly beneficial.  You will be a motivated, enthusiastic, passionate individual and inspire these attributes in the team around you.  Your line management experience will be essential as you will carry out the associated tasks, including recruitment, training and development. Customer service is at the heart of this role and you will build relationships and rapport with potential customers to gain insight and leads.
