POSITION SCOPE

  • To support the Cost Accountant, Materials Master Data and Global Supply Chain groups across the EU.

  • Minimum of two to three years of experience working in a Product Costing environment or equivalent

  • Have a good knowledge of Material Master management in SAP or equivalent

  • Build relationship with the plant controllers and operations group.

    ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

  • To provide monthly financial reporting and analysis to Supply Chain and Operations in the UK.

  • To perform the month end distribution analysis and the resulting financial entries in SAP for the UK business.

  • To ensure that there is a focus on continuous improvement and promote/implement standardisation of processes across the EU.

  • To perform calculations of estimated costs for new products during the early stages of development.

  • To set up and maintain finished goods materials in Material Master (MM) in SAP and to derive standard costings for each new product.

  • To be responsible for the quality of data for new products to be set up and to liaise with stakeholders to ensure that this is achieved.

  • To monitor and control the inflow of new material requests from different areas of the business.

  • Low error rate/high level of data accuracy.

  • To maintain Material Master in multiple plants/production facilities in line with business processes with minimal error under strict timelines.

  • Qualified AAT or part-qualified CIMA. Must be educated to degree level.
