Our client a successful, SME business based in Farnham, Surrey are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager with some Payroll experience to work in a close knit small finance team

Description

  • Management Accounts Preparation
  • Manage month End close - UK and Germany, and US CORP
  • Daily entering of Cash book receipts - (not a lot)
  • Reconciling of Bank Accounts - Daily - GBP and US$ - UK Accounts -- and Germany
  • Supervision of 1 member of staff
  • Ensuring Purchase Ledger Invoices are entered onto the system in timely manner
  • VAT Returns - Prep and submission - UK And Germany
  • Prepayments and Accruals preparation and entering as necessary
  • Payroll - (Potential to outsource)
  • Reconciliation of Creditcard Statements - Monthly
  • Preparation of Payment runs (twice a month)
  • Managing the payment of Expenses through the Purchase Ledger
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
  • Manage the Intercompany invoicing process and reconciliation of balances on a monthly basis
  • Developing the month End close process to a better standard
  • Aiding the Financial controller at year end, month End and as necessary at other times
  • Ensuring all batches have been posted through the system pre month end close
  • Forging relationships with Customer Services, China, and the US members of the finance team
  • Small bit of Credit Control
  • Banking as necessary - Very little

Profile

  • Management Accounts Preparation Experience

  • Payroll experience but doesn't need to be extensive
  • Statutory Accounts prep would be ideal but not necessary
  • Good excel skills - pivot tables - Vlookups
  • Day to Day Bookkeeping
  • Understands Reconciliations of Intercompany accounts
  • Understand PO process
  • Ability to see the bigger picture
  • Open to candidates who are qualified by experience or part qualified

Job Offer
