This is an amazing opportunity to work within one of the world’s most popular multimedia entertainment companies. With many of their brands being instantly recognisable to people everywhere, our client is a recognised global leader in entertainment.
Our client has chosen the UK’s leading Facilities Management recruitment firm, Maxwell Stephens to find an industrious and dedicated Facilities Executive for their prestigious company.
Our client is an ethical and supportive employer; dedicated to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion throughout their company, celebrating the passion and commitment of their staff.
The right person for this role
You are extremely self-motivated and driven. Working on your own initiative, you never need your hand held through tasks. As a creative yet practical thinker, you love solving problems. You’re never fazed by a difficult situation. You’re an outgoing and enthusiastic worker, eager to adapt to overcome any obstacle.
You want to be where the action is; getting your hands dirty on the front line, not supervising from an office desk. You’re passionate about working alongside your team to achieve goals together. There’s a big difference between being a boss and being a leader, and you believe strongly in leading by example and supporting those around you.
You’re naturally approachable, articulate, and polite. You can communicate with people on all levels, building strong working relationships across an organisation.
With your solid experience in the FM industry gained within a medium-to-large organisation, you’re appreciative of all current FM practices. You’re determined to deliver safe and suitable premises to your employer; using your wealth of knowledge in current H&S legislative and building maintenance issues.
Computer literate with a good general education background, you’re all set to start this amazing opportunity. Working at incremental stages in facilities management, you’ll gain an abundance of experience in this fast-paced, and demanding FM environment.
In line with our client’s core values, you always show integrity. You take responsibility for your mistakes, and believe in transparency on all levels of an organisation. As Facilities Executive, you’re determined to create a positive and inclusive working environment.
What you’ll be doing
When you join our client, you’ll meet your amazing team of junior facilities colleagues. Together, you’ll ensure all maintenance onsite is delivered effectively; meaning staff can work safely and productively. You’ll be amazed at their commitment and strong work ethic; they’re all as eager as you are to provide an amazing service.
Assisting the Director of Facilities, you help keep the show on the road. Acting on the Health and Safety plan from the Administration and Office Services Co-Ordinator, you’ll provide our client’s staff with a compliant workplace in which to continue their projects.
Your new employer will deeply value your diplomacy and interpersonal communication skills as you create and maintain relationships with the associated client group.
In this highly important role within the organisation, you’ll be personally responsible for your own distinct area of the campus. Within that area, you will check for health and safety issues daily; ensuring the required number of fire wardens and first aiders are recruited and fully trained. The safety of staff in your area will rest solely on you. Therefore, you’ll complete site risk assessments and safety inspections alongside the Director of Facilities, regularly.
You will also work with the Director of Facilities in the delivery of contract services. The cleaning, security, catering, and reception services will be your responsibility. You’ll be required to identify KPI issues, and report them formally to the Contract and Vendor Manager. Our client will also need you to expedite the tasks assigned to the role in the BCP process, and to act on calls from the Help Desk quickly and effectively.
Our client will value your FM experience in the execution of large office projects. You’ll work with the space planner/Director of Facilities on moves and changes, ensuring that all CAD records are kept up to date. As a vital member of the team, you’ll be prepared to carry out moves and changes at international offices if required, potentially as a loan worker.
This exciting and innovative company needs someone with your background to start as soon as possible to lead in all these vital areas. The junior facilities team also needs your vast experience and abilities to get the best possible results every time.
