Our client has a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! They are currently looking for a Front of House Manager to join their team based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will join them on a full time, permanent and will receive a competitive salary of £23,282 - £24,847 per annum.

They are a large and inspirational centre of learning based in Cambridge on a purpose-built site next to the Science Park, with outstanding teaching and leisure facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields. The College has been graded as “Good” with outstanding features by Ofsted and this has grade has just been reconfirmed through a short inspection this term. Providing education and training to 3000 full-time learners, 3000 part-time and 4600 apprentices, they have a current income of around £33 million, with considerable opportunities to expand operations whilst continuing to pursue excellence in all that they do.
About the Front of House Manager role
They are looking for a dynamic individual who has experience in leading and managing front of house activities.
The successful candidate will be working in a small team to deliver the practical front of house curriculum as well as managing their busy restaurant and bistro. You will be working alongside full time learners from entry level to level 3.
As the Front of House Manager, you must be able to maintain the daily smooth running of the park restaurant and bistro areas - both by supporting teaching staff and learners, coordinating technical support, stock, food and equipment within the area - working closely with Head Chef / Commercial Manager to ensure that consumable spend stays within budget. Knowledge of the health and safety surrounding the catering industry is essential.
