One of the most recognisable names in the Financial Market Surveillance space is rapidly expanding their C++ software team based in South West London. They are a team of 40 and are currently responsible for developing a highly sophisticated and easy to use surveillance platform that helps its clients to take full control of their regulatory and operational risks across markets, functions and asset classes.
They have developed a proprietary Big Data market surveillance and analytics software for the financial services industry enabling regulators, exchanges, brokers and trading desks to anticipate and comply with regulatory requirements in a rapidly changing environment dominated by increasing regulation, market fragmentation and ever increasing volumes of transactions and data.
The company’s software platform detects market abuse, gives insight on insider trading, and provides visibility of trading behaviour in real-time and thus provides a tool for automated auditing of transactional data.
To be considered for the role of C++ Financial Market Analysis Developer we are looking for developers that have the following skills:
- Solid C++ development experience
- Multi-threaded experience would be beneficial
- Comfortable in Windows and UNIX environment
- FIX, Market Connectivity, Financial experience (highly desirable but not a prerequisite)
- Data migration experience (highly desirable)
- Strong Mathematical/ Statistical Background (highly desirable)
