IQ are currently looking to recruit a Technology Manager to work for a leading IT Global Organisation based in North West London.

Role: Technology Manager
Salary: £42-62,000k + Benefits + car allowance + performance bonus
Location: North West London

This is a Technology Management role primary responsible to manage the Infrastructure Support Engineers. The Infrastructure Support Engineers are responsible for the run and maintain of all of the clients IT physical and virtual servers running on the clients EMEA side.

The main objective of the role is to manage the Infrastructure Support Engineers and in case of issues be the primary interface between L1, L2 & L3 internal and external support teams by opening a conference call or set up a war room (if needed) until the issue is resolved.

The Technology Management will work within the bounds and constraints defined by Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation.

This role reports to the Service Operations Manager. It uses existing operational standards and procedures to maintain highest availability.

The incumbent must regularly work closely with other support Team Leaders, technology specialists to resolve any issue in the EMEA infrastructure.

This role is a managerial and technical role within Service Operations and, whilst the focus is currently on Microsoft Windows and VMWare infrastructure, the incumbent is expected to competently work across many areas of Service Operations including:
*Network (MPLS, WAN, Intranet and security)
*Messaging (Lotus Notes, Instant Messaging and collaboration)

Experience Required:
Relevant work experience:
*Minimum of 5 years technical experience Building, Implementing and Maintaining Windows Server (2008, 2012) based solutions and advanced working experience with Microsoft Server related service technologies, such as;
oClustering, Active Directory
oDHCP and DNS, DFS File Services & IP Printing
*Minimum 5 year working experience with the following Server Virtualization technologies;
oVMWare Infrastructure 4.x and 5.x
*Minimum 2 years working experience with managing a support team
*Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environment which supports 100 or more internal Wintel Servers
*Working Knowledge of SAN provisioned services
*Technical understanding of TCP/IP protocol (OSI Model, Protocol Analysis)
Professional Qualifications:
*MCSE: Server Infrastructure or Private Cloud
