Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager
This successful business is looking to recruit a senior accounts professional to join their growing accounts team in Halesowen.
Reporting to the Financial controller, the role will involve supervising a small team of Accounts Administrators, processing a turnover of over 4 million per annum. Responsible for the overall maintenance of the sales ledger, purchase ledger, invoice factoring to control cash flow, the reconciliation of the bank account and SAGE against the cash book on a monthly basis. Other duties will include credit control, the communication of client identity and payment history to the team to minimise losses and the management of staff including appraisal, performance management and development.
You must have previous accounts experience including credit control, an excellent working knowledge of SAGE, experience of the administration of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and of liaising with a variety of clients.
The hours of work are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:00pm and benefits include a company paid health and wellbeing plan (long service award applies), 22 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays (long service award applies) and company pension. Interviews are on going so apply now.
