Content Marketing Manager -£30,000 + £3000 bonus!

We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator to produce material that provides value to and revenue for our fast growing/high-value B2B subscription based business information product.

We want a self-starting, ambitious person who is as passionate about producing professional, engaging content. This person should be confident in producing different types of great content, but ultimately success driven and led by metrics and data.

The Role

Reporting to the New Business Marketing Manager, and with a dotted line to the Editor, this person will be responsible for creating innovative content that generates buzz and positions the brand of the company as leaders in premier content and as the networking destination for industry specific executives globally.

We are a content business and have a huge library of high-value information available to our membership community. Using this content as one resource among many, the Content Marketing Manager will work with the content, research and marketing teams to establish content as part of campaigns and projects which have meaningful and measurable outcomes. The ultimate aim is to expand the brand, voice, digital footprint, awareness, subscribers and leads.

This is about linking content directly with commercial success and, as a result, requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

*Craft a voice that extends and enhances our brand in a unique and compelling way
*Develop and execute a functional marketing content calendar of free resources to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.). Consider how this can also be a value driver to paid subscribers too.
*Ensure all content as well as ancillary content (emails, landing pages, etc.) is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
*Establish a content workflow for requesting, creating, editing and publishing content
*Collaborate with content, designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
*Act as a conduit between the content and research teams and marketing - helping the goals of each department to be achieved
*Increase brand awareness through effective and targeted PR and social media campaigns in our key markets


*3-4 years marketing experience, with an emphasis in marketing communications
*BA/BS degree
*Excellent writing and copy-editing skills with an eye for design
*Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (SEO, email, blog, SlideShare, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
*Excellent project management skills to execute content calendar deadlines.
*A dual-minded approach: You're highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
*Past experience with PR programmes a plus
