Coulter Elite Resourcing - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for an Operations Manager for a manufacturing client based in the South Lincolnshire area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join an established company who are specialists in their field.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for multiple employees including production operatives and managers. You will be managing a low and high risk department along with the packaging area whilst controlling labour and promoting a positive and safe working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Operations Manager or Production Manager who is looking for their next step in their career.

Principle Responsibilities:-

  • Manage a safe working environment meeting company standards
  • To lead quality standards, food safety and hygiene
  • Manage performance of all team members
  • Train & Develop staff
  • Support NPD launches ensuring trails are successful
  • Process Improvement through use of KPI's
  • Recruit, Interview & hold disciplinary meetings
  • Input and understand manufacturing strategy
  • Continuous improvement

Person specification:-

  • MUST have food manufacturing experience
  • MUST have Production / Operation Manager experience within a food manufacturing environment

This is a full time permanent position offering working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm with some flexibility required on weekends. Salary £40,000 to £48,000 (DOE) p/a plus excellent company benefits which include company car allowance, pension, life assurance, Bupa and annual bonus
