We are currently recruiting for a Volunteering Assistant / Administration Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week (full time), at our head office in Kings Cross, London.

Each year, Sense supports up to 300 people of all ages who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs on our program of holidays, short breaks and leisure clubs. These are delivered throughout the year across England and Wales, through an extensive network of committed volunteers and sessional staff. About the role

As the Volunteering Assistant / Administration Assistant you will be responsible for the provision of high quality administrative support across our Holidays and Short Breaks Programmes. Your organisation skills and high level of attention to detail will be essential in the production of a variety of written documents, the organisation and distribution of resources and supporting the management of our databases, especially during busy times. As the first point of contact for our much valued volunteers, you will positively and enthusiastically respond to queries, offering advice and information and completing recruitment checks.

As a people person looking for an extremely varied role, you will relish the opportunity to work in a positive and supportive team, to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and to take the lead on certain areas of administrative support as well as having a real impact on people’s lives.
