We're looking for a sharp and commercially aware European Marketing Director / Director of European Marketing who will own the delivery of the European marketing plan across acquisition channels to deliver on the monthly lead target for the business

European Marketing Director / Director of European Marketing will: -

*Work with the sales leadership to successfully agree lead activity and targets ensuring that all materials / tools needed to deliver the activities are of high quality and available
*Identify and qualify, based on data and insight, new and improved avenues for brand growth
*Bring to life the key brand messages through sales and acquisition comms in a way that drives high quality, proposition based selling
*Manage a team of 4 direct reports to ensure that activities are delivered to the business on time and cost
*Own the acquisition, product and media budget, recommending spend decisions which optimise ROI to own the planning and delivery of product launches into the European business in a way that drives engagement amongst both prospects and members
*To coordinate marketing's communication with territories in order to engage activations teams across Europe
*Take a highly data driven and analytical approach to marketing activities
*Understand and react to competitive activity in market

European Marketing Director / Director of European Marketing will have :-
*FMCG brand / Retail experience preference
*Designed and delivered successful multi-channel consumer marketing acquisition campaigns
*Launched successful products into market
*An excellent understanding of brand marketing principles
*Experience of using customer insight to inform decisions
*Experience of working in a multifunctional team and delivering projects in a highly collaborative way.
*The ability to influence and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
*Good technical understanding and the ability to pick up new tools quickly
*A good level of numeracy - the ability to manage budgets and take a data-based approach to effectiveness and ROI
*A keen interested in industry trends FMCG, Beverages, Food, Retail, Restaurants, Beers, ecommerce or similar
*Excellent academics - 2:1 above from a redbrick or equivalent University
*A professionally disruptive, friendly, open, honest, entrepreneurial and charismatic personality

This role may involve occasional European travel. This is a key hire within a vibrant organisation going through an exciting period where impact and growth (first in the UK and then international) is firmly on the agenda.
