Our client, based in Farnborough, is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated Sales Executive, with a proven track record, to join their team. This is a proactive sales role based in the UK, dealing with UK and ROW sales areas generating profitable new business, increasing business from existing accounts, generating new sales leads in order to grow the customer database. As a Sales Executive you will be generating sales through telephone, online, seminars and exhibitions from an existing customer base as well as seeking new clients. You need to be an innovative, proactive sales person who can work with clients to find the best promotional solutions for them, and develop your own business development plans - this is not a telesales role! As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a courteous and efficient level of response to all customer quotes, orders, queries, issues and requests for information
  • Ensuring a maximum customer satisfaction ethos exists within the team and prevails with every customer interaction
  • Assuming responsibility for the attainment of monthly and annual sales targets
  • Ensuring that all customer interactions are handled and comply with company process and procedures whilst meeting company targets
  • Assuming responsibility for ensuring the schedule of works for client’s projects are met
  • Assuming responsibility in order to maintain communication with all parties, following up progress, chasing quotes and orders, maintaining control through to completion
  • Producing company reports as and when required
  • Continually review current clients business plans are in line with our sales targets and projections
  • Ensuring customer information is up to date in all systems ensuring systems remain up to date
  • Attendance at overseas exhibitions (approx one a quarter)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Comfortable in operating effectively in a fast-moving, challenging environment
  • Must have a proven track record in sales and account management in the media industry
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail and record keeping
  • Good client management experience and skills with a strong hand- on leadership style
  • Highly organised, good time management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Has the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Has a strong desire to succeed
  • Good standard of education
  • Willing and able to travel
